Amai Lolita (Sweet Lolita)

Hiya everyone!! Man I have not written anything new in a while.....well now I am here to write. Lets see....where did I last leave off? Oh yea!! With the different Lolita Styles!! Ok!! So now...lets see what one shall I write about?? I think I will start off with one of my favorites....remember I said One of my favorites. Okay! So lets begin!

Sweet Lolita also known as Amai Lolita (Amai means Sweet) is the most popular of all the style of Lolitas out there. It is a childlike, playful, innocent look. With Sweet Lolita you can accesorize as much as you want. Though there are a few things to stick to do this fashion. Just like all Lolitas you have to wear a blouse that coves the shoulders and does not show.....a lot of chest. Then the dress or skirt has to be abour 1-2 above the knee or it has to below the knee. Now..thats just the basics to most Lolita fashions, but sweet has some.....other things. Lets start with the dresses!! Below is a picture of what Sweet Lolita kinda looks like (depending on the person)

Dresses/Skirts/Blouses/JSK

Sweet Lolita dresses are mostly in pastels. Like Baby Pink, Baby Blue, Light Purple, Mint, White, A litt black and so on. Some of the dresses can be very simple or over the top in cute patterns and bows! Then the blouses are just white or pink or black.  With bows, ribbion and so on. Make-up and Hair

Make up for Sweet Lolita's wear pastel colord eye shadow (so like light colors), clear or light pink lip gloss, Pink blush (to get those cute rosey cheeks!) and black eyeliner. Now fake eye lashes are optional to get a more doll like look. And circle lenses are very popular as well. Hair is something that is pretty easy. You can do fluffy pig tails, long lose curls, curly pig tails or wigs. Below are some examples of Make-up and Hair. (yes some of them are from my last post thingy)

Shoes and socks

Knee high or over the knee socks are what a lot of lolitas wear. Though they do wear tights and ankel socks as well. The socks or tights are pastel colors as well and can have cute little patterns or just be plain. Some socks even have lace or a bow at the top which hads more cuteness :) Shoes can be from wide heeled boots or high heels to cute flats. Below are some pictures of Sweet Lolita shoes

Jewlery and hair stuff

Now this is were anyone can have with this!! There is really no limit on how many hair bows, clips and such you can have. Same goes for the jewlery. Gloves or wrist cuffs are popular as well! Now you can wear mini top hats, bonnets, half bonnets, hair bows, hair clips and so on. Then for jewlery you can wear necklaces, rings, ear rings, braclets and so on as well. Just make sure they are very sweet, cute and that they go with your outfit XD Oh! And to get the skirt or dress to "puff" out Lolita's wear petticoats. They can wear1-4 depending on how they want the dress/skirt to look. Below are some pictures!

I would like to talk about a few of my favorite Japanese styles, but not all on this page! For the first topic, I'm going to talk about Lolita and then later on post about the different types of Lolita! Okay then...shall we get started?

Lolita is a very popular street fashion in Japan, but its not always a street fashion. There are some people that wear it 24/7 year round. Lolita is to have a modest doll like look. They wear knee length dresses, JSK, blouses, skirts, knee high or thigh high socks and heels, boots or flats for shoes. Some examples are found in the Kawaii pictures below!

For make-up they like to keep in natural, so that does not mean layer up the powder, eyeliner, eye shadow and lip gloss. Lolita's wear light eye shadow (like baby pink or blue), just a little black eye liner, and lip gloss that's close to the shade of their lips. To get a doll like look they wear circle leans and fake eye lashes! Some also wear face stickers as well. So Lolita's also try to make their nose look smaller, their face more round and their lips smaller by doing cool little tricks that I will post later on. To give you some examples, look at the pictures below!!

Now for hair and accessories!! Well popular hair styles are fluffy pigtails, waist long hair that is wavy, short hair or many other different style. Most Lolita's wear wigs and wigs are very popular. To top it all off with hair, Lolita's wear big bows, bonnets, mini top hat or whatever. They also had a few more little hair bows or clips if they want. Accessories can very from lots or just a few. They wear necklaces, braclets, rings, wrist cuffs or gloves. Below are some examples.
