Lolita
Kon'nichiwa!!
I would like to talk about a few of my favorite Japanese styles, but not all on this page! For the first topic, I'm going to talk about Lolita and then later on post about the different types of Lolita! Okay then...shall we get started?
Lolita is a very popular street fashion in Japan, but its not always a street fashion. There are some people that wear it 24/7 year round. Lolita is to have a modest doll like look. They wear knee length dresses, JSK, blouses, skirts, knee high or thigh high socks and heels, boots or flats for shoes. Some examples are found in the Kawaii pictures below!
For make-up they like to keep in natural, so that does not mean layer up the powder, eyeliner, eye shadow and lip gloss. Lolita's wear light eye shadow (like baby pink or blue), just a little black eye liner, and lip gloss that's close to the shade of their lips. To get a doll like look they wear circle leans and fake eye lashes! Some also wear face stickers as well. So Lolita's also try to make their nose look smaller, their face more round and their lips smaller by doing cool little tricks that I will post later on. To give you some examples, look at the pictures below!!

Now for hair and accessories!! Well popular hair styles are fluffy pigtails, waist long hair that is wavy, short hair or many other different style. Most Lolita's wear wigs and wigs are very popular. To top it all off with hair, Lolita's wear big bows, bonnets, mini top hat or whatever. They also had a few more little hair bows or clips if they want. Accessories can very from lots or just a few. They wear necklaces, braclets, rings, wrist cuffs or gloves. Below are some examples.

Sites for Lolita!!!!!

I have been wanting to post a few website links for......LOLITA!!!! I have not been posting new things due to school...bleh!!! Well back to the main reason I'm writing!!! I want to give new lolita's or people wanting to get into lolita some good websites to use and some that you don't want to use at all when buying things.I'm also going to post some sites that are great for information about the lolita style! So here goes nothing!!
Good Site's!
Bodyline- Has dresses, jumpers, shoes, wigs....ect. Great brand of clothing and its all at a great price!!
egl-comm-sales- Is all second hand clothing and other lolita things. People trade clothing and sell their clothes at good price's....well some times
.etsy- Sells homemade jewlery, hair things, skirts, dresses and other things.....all the prices are fairly good!
sweetrococo- Great way to make a lolita dress the way you want it!! They are a bit on the pricey side...just to warn ya.
mintymix- Sells wigs and other accessories. They have some very good prices!!
kawaiigoods- Doe's sell some clothing and accessories. The prices are good.
Bad Site's!
Ebay- not a good site to use! They do not really sell what they say they are. Most of the pics used are from other sites.
Milanoo- Sells really bad dresses and clothes. All their dresses are made from fairly cheap things.
Information Sites!!!
Hellolace- Some good information on the different style's of lolita. It also has sites to use to by lolita and sites not to use. A very good site for wanting to know more
lolitafashion- A site alot like Hellolace. Gives some great tips on how to be a lolita and other things.
People to follow on Youtube
PeachieAngelPrincess-also known as Peachie. She has some great vidoes on how to do lolita make up and advice as well.
Well those are most of the sites that I are good to look at. I don't really know who else to tell you to follow on youtube....since I really only watch Peachie..most of the time. Well If you want more sites to look at or have any questions...just tell me and I will get back to you!!

Minasan, kon'nichiwa!
Minasan, kon'nichiwa!
My name is Candy...well that's what people call me or they call me Tokyo. I like to be called Tokyojust a bit more then Candy, but whatever on you want to call me is otay! My real name is N/A. People call me Candy, cause of my love for sweets and because I'm very nice. Then others call me Tokyo cause of me liking Japan so much. I'm not going to tell you where I am from, but you can guess! This is my first ever blog and I don't know what I'm going to be posting so.....beware! My life is alright, but I'm not going to be talking about it much or not at all. As you can see I'm a bit on the random, crazy side, but I'm very shy when meeting new people and I tend to act more like a little kid. I guess people could say that my style is dark at times, but I'm now doing Cute/Sweet Lolita and its so much fun! I am learning French, German, Japanese and Spanish. I know lots of languages! But its really fun to learn them.
My favorite colors are black, blue, red, green and light pink. I love cupcakes, cakes, cookies, candy, Hello Kitty, bunnies, Stuffed Animals, and music a lot!!! Music is pretty much my life and I'm head over heels for Jrock. A few of my hobbies are singing, sewing, doing my nails, drawing, listening to music, sleeping, eating candy, hanging out with friends and going to the park. Those are only a few of my hobbies.....i have a few more, but no need to bore you! I don't like to let people get bored that fast!!!!
I really don't have anything else to say, but now you get the picture of how I am for the most part.I'm not 100% sure how much I will be posting, but I will try to do it as much as I can. I'm pretty good at answering questions, sooooo...........please feel free to ask anything! Cause I will answer it and i promise.
